Major Damage To Your Home If You Ignore Small Leaks!

Updated: Feb 18, 2023

Severe Mold Growth behind Paneling Walls and Carpet caused by a Water Supply Leak behind the walls.

Keep in mind that there was no mold visible to the eye until the removal of the wooden paneling walls. Although there was a heavy odor of Mold in the home, once the paneling came down the drywall had severe evidence of heavy Mold Growth.

Upon removal of the Carpet the entire plywood sub-flooring also had severe Mold Growth and Wood Rot which had to be professionally removed down to the floor joists.

These floor joists were also severely affected with Mold and had to be replaced. It was a tough project bc this area was surrounded by 2 load bearing walls and without the proper structural construction experience, this home could have easily fallen on us.

Mold Remediation was the very last process at this project which we performed by fogging the entire structures, surfaces and indoor air which a fogging cloud of Anti-Microbial Chemicals. Along with our Negative Air Machines to reduce Airborne Mold Spores.

This project was about $11k in just Damage Repair and Professional Mold Remediation. THIS PRICE DID NOT INCLUDE THE REFRAMING OR DRYWALL FINISHES...

1. DO NOT IGNORE A LEAK!

2. DO NOT IGNORE SUSPICIOUS WATER MARKS.

3. DO NOT IGNORE SOGGY OR WARPED FLOORING.

Because a disaster may be forming behind your living spaces. Which can cost thousands to fix.

Remember your Homeowners Insurance Policy WILL NOT cover this type of occurrence bc Mold is a Sign of Neglect.

Your Insurance will only cover the Immediate and Sudden WATER DAMAGE OCCURENCES. To prevent your home from looking like this one.
