CRAWLSPACE ENCAPSULATION
AND
PREMIUM VAPOR BARRIERS
Crawlspace Encapsulation Services
If your home has a crawlspace, there’s a high probability your house is sitting on a unhealthy environment. And due to “stack effect” (which causes air in a home to move upward), it’s possible that unhealthy air is moving up throughout your home. Due to the high humidity in the Chicagoland area, having a healthy crawlspace is especially important for the overall health of your home.
Even though a crawlspace is not a livable space, making this space healthy contributes to healthy living space upstairs. Unhealthy crawl spaces, due to moisture and humidity creeping in, creates an environment for mold and mildew to grow on card board boxes, wood floors, insulation, drywall and other surfaces.

Crawlspace Encapsulation
In the late 1990’s, vapor barriers where hardly used. Now vapor barriers are used in crawlspaces to prevent soil gases and unhealthy air from moving up throughout the house. And with a crawl space liner, you can help prevent soil gases, mold, mildew, and dry rot from forming.

Our Encapsulation Liner?
Is a reinforced flexible membrane, that Installs over Crawlspace Dirt Floors and Concrete Walls to create an
Air-tight Seal to keep Soil/Ground Vapors from rising into the Crawlspace and create High Humidity Levels. Our Encapsulation Liner/Vapor Barrier comes in 12mil, 16mil and 20mil thickness to help suit the Crawlspace needs. Our Vapor Barrier exceeds requirements for a vapor and moisture barrier and is Mold Proof, Waterproof and Tearproof Product. It meets all building code requirements for use in an Indoor Crawlspace Environment.

How the Encapsulation Liner Works?
Basements and Crawlspaces can be completely sealed off from external moisture and ground vapor. Our Crawlspace Encapsulation transforms a dark dingy foundation into a Bright, Clean, Dry storage area that can be walked on or crawled on. It is always better to have a Previously Installed Flood/Drainage System to prevent Flooding on the Encapsulation Liner such as a Complete Sump Pump System along with Proper Drainage Tile in the Crawlspace before Considering a Premium Vapor Barrier. Installing a Flood Control System will extend the life of the Premium Encapsulation Liner for a Life-Time.
